Description
The Dr. Brita Cervical Orthosis is a foam cervical collar developed to support and restrict movement of the neck in patients with cervical conditions. It is indicated for cervical spondylosis, acute neck strain, whiplash injury, and recovery following cervical surgery.
The collar is built on a shaped medical foam body that holds the cervical spine in a neutral position, reducing uncontrolled movement and offloading the surrounding muscle tissue, thanks to:
- A front foam shell with a recessed chin groove and raised jawline support ridge.
- A padded inner surface in breathable cotton fabric for direct skin contact.
- A single hook-and-loop rear fastening with manual size adjustment.
- Foam side sections on both ends that stabilise lateral neck movement.
- A flat, collarbone-following base profile that keeps the collar correctly positioned through the day.
How To Use
Wearing the collar correctly takes just a few simple steps.
- Place the collar around your neck with the chin support facing forward.
- Adjust the height until your chin feels comfortable.
- Wrap the strap at the back and secure the velcro properly.
- Make sure the fit feels firm while allowing comfortable breathing.
